Creating yummy recipes to make the Jordans range even tastier and more exciting!
How long have you worked at Jordans?
4 years
Where did you work before you came to Jordans?
At Sainsbury’s working on fresh produce – lots of travelling and eating salad (healthy)!
What else would you like to do at Jordans?
I’m not sure… maybe get to know the marketing side a bit better as that would be interesting but ultimately I love the foody side!!
Why do you like working for Jordans?
It’s a small friendly company and everyone cares about what they do and the products we make. We work hard and play hard!
What is your favourite product we make?
Country Crisp Four Nut, crispy and creamy and nutty and will keep you going all morning.
What makes Jordans different to other cereal manufacturers?
I think it’s the fact that Bill & David are still involved and are as passionate about the products today as they have ever been. How many other companies do you get to know the owners of the company?
What other products do you think we could/should make?
I think we should make some tasty things with our current products – muesli muffins, smoothies with oaty bits, flapjacks, yoghurty desserts…. The list goes on (can’t give away too many ideas)!!
What makes you proud of working for Jordans?
When you see your products on the shelf and people buying them or your friends telling you how much they love this product.
Tell me something funny/quirky/unusual about Jordans?
Part of Bill’s PA’s role is to look after his dog! I love that – can I get one for Humphrey please (my dog). Don’t worry Louis never goes anywhere near the factory.
Have you ever been to Bill Jordan's nature reserve, Pensthorpe?
No
Would you like to go?
Yes, at some point when I am free. I think Humphrey would enjoy it!! He loves ducks so I think he would be very happy.
