Countryside Commitment

We’ve all enjoyed our wonderful British countryside on a summer's day, however did you know that the number of herb-rich meadows has dramatically declined over the years, which, along with fewer hedgerows means there aren't enough places for wildlife to make their homes? And if they don't have homes and we lose pollinators like bees and butterflies it will heavily impact the food chain.

Hedgerow Homes

We are the only cereal company that insists the farmers who grow the grain that goes into our products, dedicate land specifically to create homes for wildlife. All the Conservation Grade farmers who grow grain for Jordans use 10% of their land just so that British wildlife, such as barn owls can have a home.  Through Conservation Grade we’ve invested in the countryside for over 25 years and your support in buying Jordans products has helped.. But we can still do more…

Create Homes for Wildlife in your Garden

Trees, bushes and shrubs provide shelter and food for birds, bees and butterflies. You can help simply by planting even a small, wildlife-friendly tree or shrub in your garden. For example, a small holly bush will provide plenty of berries for hungry birds in winter months.
