There were a few tears in the office this week as we are saying goodbye to our limited edition Cherry & Cocoa Nib Frusli bar. Fortunately we have a fantastic new flavour to take its place in the shape of Apple, Sultana & Cinamon Frusli, which has been created after hours in the kitchen tasting and testing new Frusli bar recipes. Like the rest of the Frusli bar range, Apple, Sultana & Cinnamon, or 'tasty' as I...

On Sunday, 4th July BBC Countryfile announced the launch of The Prince's Countryside Fund, a new initiative aiming to support British farmers and rural communities. We, along with a host of other companies like Waitrose, Dairycrest and Müller Dairy are supporting the scheme because we believe in creating a sustainable future for British farmers and believe in creating a happier countryside. Thanks to the nature friendly farming...

Norton Crisp

We heard that Graham Norton was after a good, wholesome breakfast for his Radio 2 show so we made him his very own, personalised box of 'Norton Crisp' aka Country Crisp. Judging from the reaction the box recieved in the studio Mr Norton seemed pleased with the idea so we are very pleased and we hope he likes his golden clusters.

The theme was children's TV shows past and present and we even one first prize for the float. Well done to everyone who was involved.

New Kestrels

We thought you might like to see a picture of a couple of kestrel chicks which have been born on one of our nature friendly farms. The farm belongs to Stephen Honeywood in Suffolk and he has been watching closely for signs of when the kestrel chicks might take flight. Since becoming a nature friendly farm thanks to taking up the Conservation Grade scheme Bill Jordan helped to pioneer 25 years ago, Stephen has noticed an increase in wildlife....

No Salt Thanks!

Earlier this week you may have seen in the news that the NHS watchdog, NICE called for salt levels to be lowered in processed foods. We want to reassure you that Jordans do not add any salt to products we sell in the UK. Jordans was founded by Bill Jordan in 1972 on the basis of his personal belief in the benefits of eating minimally processed whole foods. We retain a very strong commitment to making good quality natural products and are one of...

Hooray for the East of England show

We spent Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the East of England show and boy did we have a good time. We decided to go back to our roots with taking a stand at county shows, you see when Bill & David Jordan started making breakfast cereals in the 1970's they made the cereal during the week and then sold it at county shows at the weekends during the summer. So we decided it was about time we revived the tradition and dug the original Model A...

Walking, we take it for granted but it is one of the best forms of exercise, helping you stay fit, slim and be sociable too as well as being a great way to get out and explore your local area and the countryside too. We love to walk! Did you know that walking for just 30 minutes a day (60 minutes for children), meets the Chief Medical Officer’s minimum recommendations for physical activity. Good news huh? Even better, if 30...
