Kirsten Hoskisson

"I'm the ‘muesli guru' at Jordans, and have spent many happy years getting to know the 200 or so approved ingredients that we use.

Achieving the perfect balance of fruit, nuts and seeds to the cereal base is key. My tailor-made recipe for new Fruity Fibre muesli, for instance, had to be nothing like those boring looking bran sticks. So I ‘upped' the level of fibre-rich toasted rye and blended in just the right amount of raw creamy oats and barley. A juicy backdrop of naturally high-fibre fruits like apple and apricot then finished things off nicely.

Bill was more than pleased with the delicious result - which is no mean feat, as getting his approval often means a lot of going backwards and forwards to him with ideas. It's a good thing I love making muesli!"
