Feel Good Be Happy

Early Riser

Posted by Rachel Marston 12 May 2009 10:24am

Despite the sunshine it was pretty chilly this morning as I went out for an early morning ride. The countryside around Hertfordshire is absolutely lovely and with the sun rising through the mist this is a very special way to start the day. Along one of the farm tracks I found myself being followed by a huge bumblebee. The fluffy body looked far too heavy for the tiny wings to support yet it zipped along the hedgerow leaving me for dust. A bowl of muesli upon reaching the office is very welcome after an early start and mucking out.

Hi Lisa I know I am bias but I do find a bowl of muesli helps after all the stable chores! I am also partial to our Absolute Nut bars as well and have a couple of packs handy at the stables, you never know when hunger pangs are going to set in. Do you hack before work as well? Rachel

Ahhh, a nice morning hack, can't beat it! As a fellow horse rider, I find a bowl of muesli gives me the boost I need to get my mucking out and riding done!
