Feel Good Be Happy

Beautiful Bramley's

Posted by Rachel Marston 27 Oct 2009 9:02am

Everyone loves apple pie, so when we were asked to donate a hamper for the 'Best Pie in Show' at last weekend's Southwell Bramley Apple Festival we were happy to send some goodies. This year was the 200th anniversary of the birth of what is believed to be the first Bramley apple tree in Southwell and celebrity chef Phil Vickery opened the event and also put on a cookery demonstration in Southwell Minster. I have asked for the winning apple pie recipe so keep visiting then you can bake your own delicious apple pies.
