I agree that conservation farming and sustainabiltiy will become more important to feed the world. It is great that biodiversity is high on the agenda and insects are being seen as companions in the natural world. The basis of all farming is the soil and water quality upon which plants need to grow. I hope Jordons plus ABF sponsor soil science as Plant Impact have proven technology to improve yield and improve plant health.
good aproach to farming we must try to get farmers to cut down on all the sprays they use make the food more fresher to use for all would be great if more turned to organic farming for healther food
A thoughtful and interesting advocacy of a 'middle way' for farming and food production. I would agree that this approach can feed the world, without the great challenges to social, economic and political organisation of the present-day world which would be required by a global shift to 'organic only'. I particularly liked the defence of biodiversity in the face of the oft-rehearsed arguments that taking the welfare of natural plants and animals is 'too expensive' or unnecessary'.
